None of the targets stated are for Scotland separately although reference is made that Scottish targets may be found in other documents.The Scottish Executive have provided no data to the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions on the attainment of targets set out in their documents A Better Quality of Life or Quality of Life Counts.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will consider undertaking an investigation into the schools meals service to establish whether the service is consistent with its own targets for improving the diet of young people in Scotland. We have no plans to undertake such an investigation.
Transfers of public sector housing in Scotland are subject to a wider value for money scrutiny which assesses the offer price against an independent valuation of the stock and compares the value of retention in the public sector against the value of transfer to a registered social landlord.

The Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Northern Diving Group based at Faslane has been collecting and disposing of the phosphorous flares washed up recently on beaches at a number of locations in south west Scotland. This is in line with well-established procedures involving liaison between the police, coastguard, local authorities and EOD personnel.
