Strategic objectives
This session, the group has agreed to focus on four areas where it feels it can bring improvements to the scrutiny role of the Scottish Parliament:
help committees find ways to work together on issues of shared interest, including on scrutiny of issues relating to the UK having left the EU; and holding the Scottish Government to account for how it delivers on Net Zero targets
find improvements in how the views of everyone in Scotland can support better scrutiny by parliamentary committees
find ways to review laws that have been passed by the Scottish Parliament and whether they are working as intended
