As I have been unable to secure the services of a solicitor I have never been able to make an actual application for legal aid. I contacted the Law Society of Scotland who provided me with access to lists of solicitors.

There are approximately 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK with around 56,000 in Scotland. Without the right support or understanding, autistic people can miss out on an education, struggle to find work and become extremely isolated.
