To ask the Scottish Executive what consideration has been given to standardising the fees for taxi and private hire car licenses under section 12 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982. An independent task group is currently reviewing all the licensing provisions of the 1982 act, including those relating to taxis and private hire cars.
