To ask the Scottish Executive what proposals it has to increase the number of designated bathing beaches in Scotland. The Scottish Executive has no proposals at present to increase the number of identified bathing waters in Scotland.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will give a commitment to ensure that an orthoptic degree course is continued at one of the universities or colleges in Scotland. The future of orthoptic education in Scotland has been under consideration for some time.
