Drinking Water (Chloramine Treatment) (PE842) Petition PE842, which is by Mrs F C Bowman, calls on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to review the use of chloramine disinfectant in the treatment of drinking water.At its meeting on 11 May 2005, the committee agreed to write to the Scottish Executive; Scottish Water; the drinking water quality regulator for Scotland; the Scottish Centre for Infection and Environmental Health; Friends of the Earth; and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
