In its written evidence, the Parole Board for Scotland said that, “Sudden notification that a prisoner is being considered for release, often many years after any previous contact from the Victim Notification Scheme (VNS), can result in significant re-traumatisation.”

A Menopause Specialists Network has been established and is meeting regularly online. The Network is supporting primary care teams, by providing access to a menopause specialist for advice, support, onward referral, leadership and training.
