Transport Scotland is nowresponsible for managing the delivery of passenger rail services across the wholeof Scotland including the West of Scotland Regional Partnership area.The failure to reach an agreement with SPT in respect of their continued role inrail, with the subsequent transfer of specialist rail staff to Transport Scotland.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to increase the level of free access to Historic Scotland properties. Historic Scotland plans to continue the significant progress achieved in recent years in enabling free access to its properties.
