COSLA has gone further than before with its guidance on "Preparing Scotland", which has been acknowledged as a marked improvement.I note from the Scottish Executive's response that it considers that the matter is for local authorities, but it also states that stocks of potassium iodate tablets are held not at local authority level but at strategic locations...
