The Scottish Parliament passed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill (“the UNCRC Bill”) and the European Charter of Local Self-Government (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill (“the ECLSG Bill”) on the 16 March 2021 and 23 March 2021, respectively.

The Scottish Parliament passed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill (“the UNCRC Bill”) and the European Charter of Local Self-Government (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill (“the ECLSG Bill”) on the 16 March 2021 and 23 March 2021, respectively.
Despite these challenges, however, our partners right across the public sector including local authorities, enterprise agencies, Visit Scotland and Creative Scotland have engaged with us constructively and in a spirit of collaboration to ensure that thousands of hard-hit businesses across Scotland receive much needed financial support.
