Supported by: Jenny Gilruth* *S5M-07236 Maurice Corry: Bravehound, the UK's Best Voluntary/Charity Project That the — Parliament congratulates Glen Art, which is a charity that help veterans return to their communities, on receiving a £5,000 National Lottery Award for its Bishopton-based initiative, Bravehound; notes that this is a project that aims to match veterans with dogs to help them adapt to civilian life; understands that it is designed specifically to provide companionship and support for those experiencing isolation or mental illness, such as post-traumatic stress disorder; recognises that, despite being only launched in 2016, it was voted the UK's best voluntary/charity project of 2017, from among 1,300 entrants; commends Glen Art on its work, and wishes it all the best.
