I will give you a flavour of some of the staging posts that we have in mind. In May and June, there will be the big UNFCCC intersessional, which is a meeting of the subsidiary bodies.
The initial timescales were very ambitious and we have not been able to meet them, but it is only by going through the process that we have been able to see exactly how long it may take and why some parts have taken longer than initially expected.
It has been highlighted that the imposition of restrictions may have had significant impacts on more vulnerable people, including those with learning difficulties and those who have been victims of domestic abuse.
Similarly, in terms of health and social care services, we want to consider the type and level of equipment and medical supplies that we may or may not need in future. Richard McCallum can give more detailed financial information on that.
That is not easy to do because, in general, people who have a lot to do are extremely busy doing what they are already doing—they may run businesses or hold down important posts in public bodies.
We now understand that, after a bit of prompting, it may report in January. It has taken far too long—at least six months now—to come to any conclusions and to issue its first report.
