We have quite a lot of experience of these types of codes in other sectors. We have, for example, the deer code, which does exactly the same thing, the outdoor access code and the muirburn code.
Recommendation
The Committee recommends to the Parliament that each reference to £300 in Section 2 of the Code of Conduct be replaced with £320 as set out in Annexe A.
Much of the practical detail in relation to the data extraction clauses is not included in the Bill but is to be the subject of a separate Code of Practice. The Bill includes a statutory duty to consult Scottish Ministers in relation to the proposed Code of Practice.
