Over the forthcoming months we will continue to work with interested parties in developing our proposals for legislation and non-legislative changes leading up to the opportunity for full pre-legislative scrutiny of the kind which I hope the Parliament will become known for.
There is a lengthy history of correspondence on the matter. Can I pre-empt that? I do not think that it would be right to ask for your interpretation of the minister's view.
The work of the expert group is important and is not pre-empted by previous pieces of work except to the extent that it is being done within the general parameters of health policy in Scotland.
