To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-11898 by Patricia Ferguson on 18 November 2004, whether it will provide a breakdown of the sources of the £12.2 million being made available towards the implementation of the Action Plan for Youth Football. The £12.2 million to be made available by the Executive and sportscotland towards the implementation of the Action Plan for Youth Football will include £1.2 million of Exchequer funding, £1 million from the Lottery Sports Fund and £6 million from funding made available for community sport from unspent balances of the former New Opportunities Fund.

To ask the Scottish Executive what involvement it has had in the issue of ground specifications for Scottish Premier League football clubs. The Scottish Premier League determines ground specifications for its member clubs having due regard to relevant legislation and governing body rules.However, through National Planning Policy Guideline (NPPG) 11: Sport, Physical Recreation and Open Space published in June 1996, the Executive offers guidelines to the football authorities and others on the provision of stadia in the aftermath of the Hillsborough Stadium disaster.
