Following our consideration of the issue of substance misuse we wrote to the then Minister for Public Health and Sport on 6 March 2018 with our findings. In our letter we noted that funding for Alcohol and Drug Partnerships was reduced by 22 per cent in cash terms, from £69.2m in 2015-16 to £53.8m in 2016-17 and 2017-18.
