Post-Legislative Scrutiny: Disabled Persons' Parking Places (Scotland) Act 2009
In March 2017, the Committee began post-legislative scrutiny of the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (Scotland) Act 2009.
The Bill was introduced by the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Connectivity, Fergus Ewing MSP, on 9 June 2017. The Bill completed Stage 2 on 28 March 2018. The Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee is the lead Committee.
The consultation period starts with the laying of draft National Outcomes and a description of the consultation process, representations made during it, and how the Government has taken these into account. These were laid on the 29th of March. The consultation period ends on the 24th of May.
This seems unlikely to be the intention in relation to the form of appeals, given the Scottish Government paper explaining its amendments refers to:
the necessary form that they would need to complete and return back to the agency.

The Scottish Government has a strategy ‘New Scots: Integrating Refugees in Scotland’s Communities 2014 -17’ prepared in partnership with CoSLA and the SRC. A second report, published in March 2016, set out progress on the second year of implementation of the strategy.
