Dogs (Protection of Livestock) (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill - The Scottish Government's View
The Scottish Government is supportive of the additional powers of investigation for police and the proposed inspectors, and state that "The proposed new powers to take, or have taken, a dog to a veterinarian for evidence gathering are considered to usefully assist in the investigation of livestock worrying offences.
