We have also made sure that since April 2011, all NHS staff in Scotland earn above living wage rate. All teachers, police officers and Fire Service personnel already earn above the living wage rate.
The Patient Safety Commissioner made it clear that those with lived experience are not being listened to and that the health board has failed to reassure and support patients.
In 2024, the Government committed £8.8 million to expand access to closed-loop systems—CLS—partly to ensure that all children and young people living with type 1 diabetes in Scotland could access CLS.
