The appointments process will also identify those that best meets the needs of the board which are underrepresented, including characteristics, such as sex, disability, age, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
Forth Valley is committed to inclusion and engagement with people with lived experience at a practical level and plan to continue to develop this as key to our understanding of how best to meet the needs of our people.
To start the process of creating rules, I suggest that the Committee should recommend that our Parliament appoint a delegate to observe the work of the Commission and participate as may be allowed, in order to benefit from what is already being done and ensure best practice in our own system.
