Without the data, the evidence is anecdotal. I appreciate that, as MSPs, you will all have people knocking on the doors of your surgeries to complain about landlords, but I am not sure that you often have people knocking on them to say that their landlord is great.

Talking about his own position, Angus Robertson MP said in 2008 that the Lisbon treaty, the current foundational document of the European Union, was “unacceptable” and “a travesty”. Does Angus Robertson MSP agree with that? I agreed at that time that people should have a view and should be able to cast a vote in favour of the European Union.

If we want more attentive pupils, let us have more attentive MSPs. If we want to stop the corrosive impact of misogyny in our schools, we should consider who we follow on social media, what we share and how we engage with female politicians, irrespective of party, because what we do here matters.
