This Government Bill was introduced on 9 February 2017 by the Cabinet Secretary for Communities, Social Security and Equalities, Angela Constance MSP. The lead committee for the Bill is the Social Security Committee.
The ideas contained in this report, if accepted by the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Jenny Gilruth MSP, are the first stage in a longer-term development process.
