To ask the Scottish Government whether it has undertaken a review of the Individual Learning Account scheme, as indicated in the Labour Market Strategy.
Local health boards do not have democratic accountability. The great and the good are stuck on the boards and are quite often remote from the population.
It is not just a fund; it is an all-embracing support programme covering the skills agenda as well as account support to those really important employers.
We have just started a process to rewrite that to take account of changing circumstances. The new national transport strategy, rapid economic growth in the area and the proposed low-emission zone in Edinburgh will all have an influence on the regional transport strategy.
