More than five years on, in December 2021, we were told by the Government that it would be completed and operational by February 2022. In July 2022, we were told that it would be completed and operational by November 2022.
That is based on initial analysis; we hope to publish further analysis in early 2022. It will give the families of more than 106,000 children under the age of six an immediate cash boost when it is introduced in April 2022.
It is expected that the plan will be published by the end of 2022. Bearing in mind the subsequent submission from the Scottish Government, do members have any comments or suggestions?
