I appreciate that in some circumstances there may be a reason that the papers are late—for example, someone may be ill and may not have managed to send something in—but it is becoming a regular habit.

”Any patient who refuses to leave hospital for any other reason other than exercising their statutory right to choice of accommodation may be recorded as delayed due to “Other patient/carer/family-related reason”, however not all patients recorded with this reason code can be said to be refusing to leave hospital.

The Scottish Government does not hold data on reasons why properties may be ineligible for reliefs. The rateable value thresholds for SBBS changed over the requested period.
