. ▪ By spring 2024, TS and ABP completed infrastructure works in Troon, to accommodate the ferry during the redevelopment of Ardrossan at c£3m. 3 Where are we 2025… ▪ Glen Sannox has commenced operation from Troon, whilst the MV Caledonian remains out of service for repairs (it was expected back in service March 25), resulting in no ferries operating from Ardrossan in 2025. ▪ Early 2025, NAC sought to reopen the original investment principles, due to spiralling costs. ▪ Islanders, represented by the ferry committees are distraught; poor vessel conditions and a lack of decisions are impacting day visitors and general visitor numbers; thus, livelihood of islanders and businesses are significantly impacted. ▪ Ardrossan community; created an action group, publicly marching to the Harbour, Holyrood and recently Clydeport HQ. th ▪ Transport Minister announced 19 February confirmation that SG were exploring options on purchasing the Harbour.
