Adults with incapacity - 2024 update

The current work of the Scottish Government In September 2024's Programme for Government, the Scottish Government announced new legislation to amend the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 (the 2000 Act). The Bill was described as: a first step to update and modernise the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 in line with developing thinking and international standards on human rights.
