These proposals are now being developed further, with input from service users and providers and the Executive expects to publish a draft bill early next year. We aim to modernise the framework for supporting pupils with additional needs, strengthen parents' involvement in decisions affecting their child's education and safeguard the rights of pupils with the most complex needs.
