We understand that there was an issue at that MOD-run school in March 2023. It was investigated by the MOD in April and reported to the Department for Education for the UK in May 2023.
That is why I have decided that our NHS will remain on an emergency footing until at least 31 March next year. Our social care services are dealing with the same level of pressure, and demand is extremely high.
Today, I will give Parliament and, more importantly, survivors, an update on the progress that has been made since March. Before I do that, however, I will give an update on the advance payment scheme.

To ask the Scottish Government when exercise in gyms and indoor fitness classes will be able to resume under its revised COVID-19 Strategic Framework. On 16 March the First Minister outlined some indicative dates for the resumption of sport and physical activity in Scotland.
