The formative and process evaluations of the first six months of the pilot drugs courts in Glasgow (11 November 2002 ) and Fife (6 August 2003) concluded that it was still too early to determine the impact the pilots have had on drug misuse and associated offending but a number of positive results were reported.Decisions on the future of drugs courts in Grampian or elsewhere in Scotland will be informed by the results of the independent evaluation.
