There is currently a single three-year EMA pilot in Scotland which commenced in August 1999.The Scottish Executive is considering how to allocate the Barnett formula consequentials of the Chancellor's announcement.
There is already statutory basis for funding voluntary organisations such as Rape Crisis or Victim Support services. Section 10 of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968, makes provision for financial assistance by way of grant or loan to be provided to voluntary organisations whose sole or primary objective is to promote social welfare.

To ask the Presiding Officer which members of the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body, if any, have carried out any visits outside Scotland in connection with the Holyrood Project, and the dates and costs of any such visits.
To ask the Scottish Executive what steps it is taking to ensure equality of access to rail services across Scotland. The Executive has issued guidance to local authorities on the preparation of Local Transport Strategies.
To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will publish details of the new self-insurance arrangements for the National Health Service. The National Health Service in Scotland has been kept informed of the development and arrangements for the new financial risk-sharing scheme for clinical negligence and certain categories of non-clinical risk.

When authorities make provision for transport under Section 51 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980, they, and the transport operator will have a general duty of care towards those pupils.
