The UK Government has been working with the Welsh Government to extend application of such a measure to the Private Rented Sector in Wales via the Bill and we intend to move forward with their offer to also extend the provisions to Scotland.

As the implementation of the City Centre Recovery Task Force report continues, the Scottish Government is supporting our cities to decide how best to prioritise their own recovery plans.
The problems that have been pointed to in the previous sessions are to do with the cumulative effect of the Supreme Court case law, especially in cases such as an independence referendum bill, the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill.
