The regulations also correct a drafting error in the Local Government Pension Scheme (Increased Pension Entitlement) (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Scotland) Regulations 2019 that was identified by the Committee in its report dated 21 January 2020.
The Committee welcomes this correction.
Illustrative Regulations
Much of the detail of the operation of the offences proposed in the Bill, enforcement activity and the delineation and dates of operation of the event zones will be provided in regulations which emanate from the Bill.
We are already on track, with the bill, to achieve what the IPCC report is looking for, including being carbon neutral by—in our case—a set date of 2050. What we are proposing lies within the parameters of what the IPCC asks for."
Dr Peter Bennie of the BMA said that whilst new guidelines were well publicised “it was difficult to keep up to date with everything that comes through”.Health and Sport Committee.
In respect of the ways in which parents/guardians would be informed of activities, Glasgow City Council explained:
Parent Councils would be kept up to date with developments in the curriculum, which would include business partnerships.
They could go ahead now but—for whatever reason, and without explanation—they are choosing to hold the budget back until 11 March. That is a key date, because it is the final date by which councils must have set their budgets and council tax levels.
The material that has been provided to the inquiry to date includes emails, messages, submissions, advice to ministers and papers from key decision-making meetings, including meetings of the Scottish Cabinet.
