Offices imposing duties which with regard to time and place would prevent their holders from fulfilling Parliamentary duties satisfactorily, i.e. they would take up too much time or otherwise prevent an MSP from attending Parliament.

Calls for further research into alternative treatments for patients
Elaine Smith MSP summed up the concerns of the petitioners’ and wider patient body in evidence to the Committee on 1 December 2015: “To me, the bottom line is that a lot of patients in Scotland are not getting the right treatment…More research needs to be done to show what is happening.”iP...
In structures where additional bricklaying accessories are required, this clearly provides a perverse incentive to not install (or not install correctly) those accessories. Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing said—

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body recognises that, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, MSP staff working from home will be required to contact constituents in a variety of different ways.
Meetings specifically on the work of the Sentencing Council have been held when Michael Matheson MSP met Lady Dorrian on 30 August 2016 and I met Lady Dorrian on 26 February 2019.
