For species that are already widespread, such as giant hogweed, NatureScot can offer species control agreements to support coordinated control programmes, where inaction on a particular land holding is jeopardising the success of the programme.

At 1 October, all six local authorities in the pathfinder programme have mainstreamed their support provision and remain committed to delivering a Housing First programme.
Such measures are known to benefit health and assist in alleviating fuel poverty, so it was concerning to hear that some felt there was a lack of emphasis on that programme in the plan, particularly given the ambitious figures presented for future installations.

The plan will reiterate our commitment to our disabled employees, and outline the action SG will take to ensure that they are supported to progress within the workplace and that we become an employer of choice for disabled people in Scotland.

I reiterate that the project was inspired by a number of responses that we had to the public consultation on our ninth programme of law reform. We have just come to the end of that and are about to start the 10th programme.
It will allow individuals—only those who are terminally ill, I would argue—to seek assistance in bringing their life to its conclusion, while giving legal protection to those who provide such assistance.
