The Law Society of Scotland proposed that the determination should be widened to allow for Bills containing non-contentious criminal law reform which commanded broad agreement among stakeholders to be classed as SLC Bills.
The Committee notes that the issues identified in the Sump report and subsequently considered by the Crofting Legislation Stakeholder Consultation Group have been subject to detailed consultation and command broad support amongst stakeholders.
