In the meantime the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) updated its interim regulatory position on emamectinbenzoate, to apply the new standard when determining new applications to discharge emamectinbenzoate.
To ask the Scottish Government when it will publish an analysis of its consultation on the implementation timescales for a new environmental quality standard (EQS) for emamectinbenzoate, as used in fish farms, which closed on 24 July 2023.
In addition, the Scottish Government undertook consultation on the implementation of the new Environmental Quality Standard for EmamectinBenzoate. This consultation closed on 24 July 2023 and responses are being carefully considered.
