This, then, is not just a case of my representing one constituent; a number of people across Scotland have been drawn to my attention via the formation of Death Abroad—You’re Not Alone, a new support group that has been set up in Scotland for families whose relatives have died overseas.The intention is to have a consistent quality of support, not just for Scots who die in Germany but, say, Germans who die in Scotland, Spain or France, via the European victim support network and other authorities.
