I thank the petitioner and the parliamentarians who have taken time to support the petition.National Planning Policy Guideline 19 (PE1048) National Planning Policy Guideline 19 (PE1048) PE1048, by Kitty Bell, calls on the Scottish Parliament to alter national planning policy guideline 19 to correct an anomaly contained in paragraph 21.4 and ensure that the precautionary approach also applies to pre-school children and all children at play, thereby giving them the same protection from telecommunication masts as that given to their older brothers and sisters while at school.We have seen the petition before and the petitioner has sent a letter—it was certainly sent to me although I do not know whether it was copied to other committee members—updating us on her concerns.
