Hunting with Dogs Bill Scottish Governments response to Stage 1 report
In relation to the specific point about the need to be able to control dogs underground by verbal or audible command, it may be helpful if I clarify that this does not mean that the dog handler has to be in verbal or audible contact with their dog at all times. The person responsible for the dog should be able to direct the dog’s activity by physical contact or verbal or audible command.
