Nevertheless, we need an ordered process through which we can understand how support can be best allocated to the national performing companies, and that proces has begun.
I am sure that we all want to see the best possible engagement without having to force folk into positions that they do not want to be in; after all, it is best if this is all voluntary.
Scottish Labour believes that the interests of the people of Scotland are best served when both the Scottish and UK Governments work together in co-operation.
However, if people or communities do not start off equal and at best all we do is treat everybody the same, all we do—again, at best—is perpetuate the existing inequalities, and if we do not design our services in the right way, we can end up making some of those inequalities worse.
