The Government will address those questions in its longer-term legislative work on the private rented sector. Thanks for that. Minister, you may have heard some contributions from the previous panel suggesting that the proposals might lead to a feeling that tenants do not have to pay their rent at all and might give the green light to non-payment.
It seems that there are no further questions from committee members, so I will ask one or two more, if I may. Some considerable changes have been made to the net zero and transport budget, but there is not a lot of detail.

It is not just about the UK listening to the devolved Administrations; it is about its acting on concerns that may be raised—perhaps privately, in which case we may not hear about them.
To ask the Scottish Government how many timetabled services under the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services contract have been provided by the MV Alfred since 1 May 2023. MV Alfred has operated 2,720 sailings since 1 May 2023 (covering up to 30 April 2025).
To ask the Scottish Government how many individual pieces of guidance have been issued to local authorities since May 2021. The Scottish Government has published 89 individual pieces of advice and guidance to local authorities since 1 May 2021.
