Agriculture (Retained EU Law and Data) (Scotland) Bill 5 Part 1—Retained EU law Marketing standards and carcass classification 8 Marketing standards (1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make provision about the standards with which the following products must conform (“marketing standards”), that is products 5 which— (a) are listed in section 9A(1), and (b) are marketed in Scotland. Although it is right for the Scottish Government to take the time to reflect on the report’s findings and recommendations before responding more fully, l want to take the opportunity today to talk briefly about some of those findings.
