P ART 4 P ROCEDURE 10 C HAPTER 1 1 C OMMITTEES Committees 9 (1) In addition to those established in accordance with paragraphs 10 to 12, Qualifications Scotland— 15 (a) may establish such further committees as it sees fit, (b) may establish such sub-committees as it sees fit, other than in relation to the Accreditation Committee where the committee itself may establish such sub-committees as it sees fit. (2) The membership of a committee or sub-committee may include persons who are not 20 members of Qualifications Scotland. (3) Qualifications Scotland may pay such remuneration and allowances (including expenses) as the Scottish Ministers determine to each member of a committee or sub-committee who is not a member of, or member of staff of, Qualifications Scotland. (4) Subject to paragraph 12(3)(a), a committee or sub-committee must comply with any 25 directions given to it by Qualifications Scotland.

Final provisions 11 Ancillary provision (1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make any incidental, supplementary, consequential, transitional, transitory or saving provision they consider appropriate for 30 the purposes of, in connection with or for giving full effect to this Act. (2) Regulations under this section may— (a) make different provision for different purposes, (b) modify any enactment (including this Act). (3) The regulations— 35 (a) are subject to the affirmative procedure if they add to, replace or omit any part of the text of an Act, (b) are subject to the negative procedure if they do not. 19 Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill 12 Commencement (1) This section and sections 11 and 13 come into force on the day after Royal Assent. (2) The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may by regulations appoint. 5 (3) Regulations under subsection (2) may— (a) include transitional, transitory or saving provision, (b) make different provision for different purposes. 13 Short title The short title of this Act is the Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Act 2024.
