To ask the Scottish Government what engagement it has had with the UK Senior Traffic Commissioner (a) prior to and (b) following the withdrawal of the proposed introduction of new voluntary guidelines to apply to the carriage of passengers to football matches in Scotland. I wrote directly to Richard Turfitt, the Senior Traffic Commissioner, on 6 September to set out our strong concerns with the proposed guidelines and to request any future proposals are developed with the full involvement of the Scottish Government and the Scottish football governing bodies, and most importantly, supporters clubs and fans.
