PB/S6/26/007 Parliamentary Bureau – Timetabling of Bills at Stage 1 Prevention of Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill 1. The Parliament agreed on 21 May 2025 to designate the Criminal Justice Committee as lead Committee in consideration of the Prevention of Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1.
Depending on the date on which the Committee concludes Stage 2 consideration of amendments, a further paper may be brought to the Bureau for its consideration in relation to the timing between Stage 2 and Stage 3.
For the Committee to be confident of completing Stage 2 proceedings by the end of November, to then allow it to progress with other time sensitive items of business in December, a further continuation of proceedings may be necessary in the evening on Tuesday 25 November. 5.
