In the 1990s, Canada introduced an amendment to section 163 of the Canadian Criminal Code that provides Canada with a legal definition of obscenity and addresses the issue of the harm that pornography does to women and children.Although we are opposed to censorship, we urge the Parliament to take a lead in changing attitudes to pornography in Scotland.
