There is, however, no requirement in the bill for complaints handling to be covered by the code. Amendment 158 provides that the board is required to include such details in the code and fulfils a commitment that was given to the committee at stage 2 by Hugh Henry.I move amendment 158.

A good example of that is the prevention of environmental pollution from agricultural activities—PEPFAA—code. The agriculture and environment working group that produced the "Custodians of Change" report was given quite a substantial amount of evidence that there is a low uptake of the PEPFAA code— But the code is voluntary.
