S6W-02710 Murdo Fraser: To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-32512 by Roseanna Cunningham on 13 November 2020, how many cases of fly- tipping have been recorded in (a) 2020 and (b) 2021 to date.
The proposed increase delivers a Scottish Government commitment in the Programme for Government 2020-21. It is also in line with plans being considered in the rest of the UK.
Hence, SFC’s headline GDP forecast for 2020 at 1% is slightly up on their May 2019 forecast of 0.9% and in line with the December 2018 forecast of 1% (see Figure 8).

The Scottish Government’s commitment to developing a self-harm strategy followed recommendations made by Samaritans Scotland in its 2020 report, which highlighted that self-harm was not significantly featured in any of the Scottish Government’s current strategies.1Samaritans Scotland. The 2020 Regulations, which have been in force since June 2020, make provision for free disclosure checks and applications to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (“the PVG Scheme”) for work relating to the coronavirus response.
