Key Issues for Session 6 - 2023 Update
Regarding the distribution of earnings, Scotland's gender pay gap was 12.0% in 2022 (up from 11.1% in 2021 but below the UK-wide figure of 14.9%) and the disability pay gap was 16.2% in 2019 (the latest year for which reliable data is available, due to a coding error by the ONS). This gap has risen from 12.8% in 2014.

The current binary approach to risk in the SBA is in contrast to that taken in PAS 9980 which is a code of practice published by the British Standards Institute for the specific appraisal of the fire risk of external wall construction and cladding on existing blocks of flats.
